Actress Elsa Pataky has been named as the newest face of L’oreal Paris and well, you hardly need to ask why. The Spanish-born actress, model, wife and mother of three, is devastatingly beautiful. End of story.
Annoyingly, she’s also delightful so you know, we can’t even dislike her. Not really.
The A-lister, who is married to Aussie boy Chris Hemsworth and divides her time between LA and Byron Bay, is the new face of Botanicals Fresh Care – the latest haircare release by L’Oreal Paris.
“I love using this range of products – everything from the scent to how it makes my hair feel and the beautiful packaging”, says Elsa.
But then she would right? At least, that’s what we thought when we read that statement. So we tried the range ourselves. And truth is, it’s excellent. It smells delicious, lathers beautifully and leaves hair light and bouncy. Those who tends towards frizz will need a smoothing oil or anti-fly-away serum afterwards but otherwise – this is a damn fine range.
Launching in May, the range of products is made from natural botanical ingredients sourced from around the world. The formulations contain no parabens, silicone or colourants, and the eco-conscious packaging is recycled and recyclable after use.
The range is made up of four pillars, each containing a shampoo, conditioner, mask and treatment. The ingredients are sustainably grown, extracted and concentrated by expert botanists, and created to target a different hair type:
L’Oréal Paris Spokesmodels Doutzen Kroes, Karlie Kloss and Luma Grothe are the faces of the range globally.
“We are thrilled to have Elsa on board as the Botanicals ambassador to bring this beautiful new brand to Australia. She is natural, fresh, down to earth and perfectly embodies the Botanicals ethos”, says L’Oréal Paris Marketing Director, Lauren Crawley.
Yup. We get that.
