How To Wear Red Eyeshadow And Look Hotter Than Hell

Red can be tricky. But nowhere near as tricky as you might think. Really.

And yes, you’ve no doubt heard that this is a hue that you should NEVER, like never ever, put anywhere near your eyes, but guess what – a pop of red on the eyelids is not only 100 per cent on trend right now (it was all over the runways at Fashion Weeks in New York, Paris and Milan this years) but done right, it actually looks kind of amazing.

Did you read that sentence closely? Yep, we said it’s super pretty, not to mention cool, when it’s ‘done right’. So what does that mean exactly? Pretty much this. Red eyeshadow works best if it’s just a wash of colour across the upper lid. Also, it’s most effective if you keep the colour to the moveable lid – so, no blending it up towards the brow bone like you might do with a more subtle shade.

Try it and see what you think.

We promise you, it’s way more lovely than you ever imagine and instead of making you look weary, actually makes you look alive and dare we say, super fresh!
